Anyone in the Annapolis area, Bowens Farm Supply on Riva Road has a huge selection of wheels and tires for this sort of thing. They have wide tires, with small diameter. I went there to save one of my fishing trips, when I discovered the tires were flat on my trailer dolly. They also have tubes for the tires. The tubes don't leak like the tubeless tires. I don't know what the deal is, but the tubeless tires seem to really leak air. The tubes work great. Anyway, Bowens may save some time.

Cart arrived today. Assembly and breakdown is a cinch. Can't wait to put it to use.

Well after using one I finally broke down and bought it, I like the way it breaks down for easy storage, the only thing I might change is the strap, thinking about a strap with some type of grip and a better latch. But moving it around is a lot easier now.
Don't know if it works until you try it.

          The plan I used: http://oakpwrd.tripod.com/kayakcart.html

          The wheels: http://www.surpluscenter.com/item.as...catname=wheels

Plastic hubs. No worries about corrosion.

And the result below. You'll notice the axle extends way beyond the wheel. I read on someones blog somewhere to leave it. In the event of tough terrain you can lift it. Haven't had to use it that way but made sense.
I like those wheels. Plastic, no metal, no corrosion. If my wheeleez blows up, I may try them, at only $10 each. The bore is 3/4", though. My axle is 1/2".

I like how that C-tug breaks down too.
