  • Bay bridge success... finally

Bottom fished shallower pilings for about an hour, catching big spot and perch. Some small perch too, that I decided to keep aboard for later use...

Headed out to deeper water and fished Striper for about an hour. An 18.5" and a big head skinny body 21" striper fell for a zman paddler. Live lined perch and had 5 takers and 2 hookups. One mid 20 fish came all the way to the yak and spit the perch, but a 25" striper was nice enough to join me in the yak.

    Pretty good quick trip!

        Congratulations Ryan. Nice haul.
Those look like some nice eating stripers. I'd love to get me some 20-something for the smoker.
So far 18 has been the biggest I've pulled on board this year.

On another note, aside from one tiny crab in the bigger striper, their stomachs were empty. Doesn't really make sense with all the bait fish that seem to be everywhere...
