The stump field to 29 bridge is ok.

Have you guys figured out how to catch the fish suspending off steep banks near the 29 bridge? I tried dragging size 5-7 regular and jointed shad raps in front of them but that didn't work.. I'm convinced they must be keying in on bigger sized forage like all the big 4-5 inch gizzard shads swimming around in schools. I picked up DT16s to try next time. Small lures catch me dinks there and even mid sized fish seem to prefer bigger lures.

Thanks! I picked up a DT6 firetiger earlier this year and it's caught me mostly small ones lol... I have the DT16 and DT20 ones now. They're about 3 inches long and pretty hefty lures at 3/4 oz.

I had a 16 lb bag today on a 4 inch worm and 4.5 drop shot worm... Caught 1 fish with a do 16 and 1 on a spinner bait in the wood.. I caught all fish today on shorelines. Had 13 total. Nothing smaller then 14 inches

I had a miserable day today ended up with 5 thanks to 2 late ones on the paddle back. Never fully adjusted to the bite. My buddy was slaying them ( see above ) but I could not get on. It was a great lesson for the future. I have 2 big bags of lures and plastics and yet it took me 3 hours to get off my initial 3 set ups by then the bite had slowed. Humbling day yet it was still nice. We seemed to be the only ones out there for 5 or 6 hours.
