Rinse after each. Wash right before winter storage.

I like the Pressure washer idea and some Star Brite boat wash.

Not sure what will get years of neglect off your yak. I do wash mine down with a little Dawn in a bucket of water and scrub it with a kitchen scrub pad. Works well for me, but I do that after every outing. Hope you can get it cleaned up the way you want.

Every few times out or so when I think about it I spray mine down with simple green or 409. Works like a charm for a light clean

Try OxyClean. I use a form of it for cleaning beer brewing equipment. It will remove lots of stubborn stains.

Tylex mold and mildew remover. Cheap and easy. Spray it on, let it set for a couple minutes, scrub and rinse off. Want hurt nothing....

Once I am done for the day......when transporting my kayak in the back of my pickup truck.....I stop by the "self serve" car wash and use the "soap foam brush" and then rinse it off with the wand at low pressure. Works like a charm....and it only takes 5-10 minutes max. DONE!
