Do you launch from West Marina? I'm interested in joining you either one or both days depending on weather.

Nope, free launch off our small beach. Have to paddle out about a mile to get into the deeper water and the fish. But I see lots of kayakers also fishing the rubble around the rod-n-reel docks. I'm not sure what's to be caught there though. I usually just start paddling at a heading of 100-110 until I am in the 15' waters and start seeing schools.

Perch on the rocks. Also lots of Crocker school in the shallows of brownies. In the crab pot areas.

Well, caught some blues, but at the expense of my lures...

Nice... Heard the blues are back in the beach. Did you catch them trolling? If so how far out? Thanks. Might try some cut spot on bottom rigs.

Yeah trolling those Storm spot plastics. Spoons would have been better. They were in 3'-15' of water.

Try putting a stinger hook on the end of those soft plastics. You'll save a lot of lures that way and catch some blues at the same time.
