Like Sparky said, if its a 2013 or newer, its molded for the Pro Angler hatch and tackle tray set up. If yours isn't, way to do it anyway and make it happen!!!

I have been contemplating that upgrade myself. The only downside I have heard about is having to turn "side saddle" or spread your legs like a woman giving birth. Let me know if you find any of this to be true. I may just do it myself.

The outback I did this to is a 2012, accessing into this hatch
        Isn't that bad for me

I did mines few months ago.I brought the Hobie P A hatch kit. That came with hatch, backing plate, gasket and ss screws. The tray will be sold seperate. To me that is the best upgrade I have done to my outback.

I will be doing this soon, my center hatch has never worked right anyway. It never wants to close easily.
