  • No Toggy Love in Kipto, Apr2, 2014

Tuesday, Apr 1, I had a day off. I went Kipto for tog. The water was 44F. I had zero bites. I was alone all day. On the way back home, I still didn't see anyone fishing at CBBT.
I guess I try CBBT next time.

Just to keep the record of another skunk day,
    Fish like there's no tomorrow.

Thanks for the report, hopefully a couple more degrees warmer and it will be game on!

Well not for trying!!! I'm sure you'll keep at it til they show up! LOL How deep was the area you dived?

        Another valiant effort!

I tried Ocean City inlet today (6th) and no tog love there either. Not a bump. Water was amazingly clear; you could easily see down 5-6 ft. They'll show up sometime soon I hope!

Too bad, but great effort! A couple more weeks indeed...

Although you can catch togs in the low forties during late Fall, maybe they're a bit slow in getting active again as the water warms up in the upper forties during early Spring.
