10-14 Rhode River Stripers

Monday morning I went to launch from Beverly-Triton Beach, but it was closed for a controlled hunt. I heard the gunshots later, so it was no joke! I launched at Carr's Wharf on the Rhode instead since it was close by. Of all places, I got my first keeper Rock here! I also caught a dink and that was it, but it was a great morning for me and I had dinner to bring home.

Congrats on a fine eating dinner- Keepers are more plentiful just about every where, even though you are still getting a lot of undersized fish mixed in-

Glad you got that keeper. The rivers just seem to be getting better and better this time of year. I have been fishing every chance I get, before it ends for the year.

You never forget that first "kiss," and Carr's Warf was mine to the Bay...
I think you feel the same way.

I met some really nice locals down there early in the year and told me the
places to fish and some other places to launch on the cuff.

I'm stoke on your success... I believe you have the enthusiasm to explore,
and, that not only is the catch something to be happy about...
But the adventure is truly the reward, and you will never come home
empty handed with that spirit.
