Fished the Potomac today out of Brunswick, first time for me on this specific stretch...was slow going until some waders went past me throwing senkos and catching fish...I know senkos work like magic on these fish, but I continued to try to force feed them what I wanted. 
Needless to say when I switched I immediately started hooking up. Only caught a couple that were worth measuring, none greater than 15". It was a lot of work...I didn't have a partner so I couldn't complete a float downstream...had to continuously paddle upstream and drift...stayed within e-z paddle to the ramp.
