    90' ?!? What size bucktail?
Thanks John. I didn't even see that Metroman wrote that. I wasn't using a bucktail when I caught the biggun. I was using this squid looking thing with a strip of squid as the trailer it was attached to a 3 way swivel... I was using 10 ozs. It was really cool looking and recommended by the shop owner. Which only said it was working because another customer said it was. Lol Foursteps and Metroman used bucktails in place of the squid looking thing, they broke theirs off. We bought some 6 oz Spros but never got to use em. After all the snags I'm glad we didn't!! Those suckers were almost $10!

I haven't eaten them yet, they're cleaned and in the freezer. I'll probably break em out this weekend. Thanks for the kind words!!

    Jet,
That shirt is my go to when fishing until I can afford some Aftco stuff!!! Lol

It was probably 25, no more than 30 for sure. It wasn't crowded at all. As a matter of fact we were all able to fish from the same side of the boat so no one would have to worry about fishing under the boat. I can only imagine that the weekend trips are much more crowded. I think she said the boat can hold over 50.

that sure is a big one!

i know in the lower bay they fish much deeper, like 50-90 feet for flounder with 3 way rigs.

up here me and my dad fished for flounder in 10-20 feet around thomas point to catch the 15-19 inch flounder. maybe well have to look deeper!
