  • 26.5 south river topwater striper w/ pics

    tonight i got to my pier around 6 and fished till 7 15. i had 3 blowups pretty quickly but none came tight so i put the front treble hook back on and got this nicee 26.5 incher. i think i could have had 4 if i had both treble hooks on the whole time. normally i dont start catching them in great numbers until october on topwater but they are here so go get them

        You fishing near the mouth of selby bay? I'll probably head there this weekend for blues/rockfish, just need to get some cut bait.

          no need for cut bait now that the towater stripers are in, just got out around 5 with a stillwater smackit or similar plug and fish till sunset
