  • I got that rock...

    Fellas,

I launched at 9:30am today, after the fog lifted. My plan was to troll all the way from Chance to Wenona and see what I could pick up. Water temp was 47 with a 10mph wind from the south. I picked up a schoolie rock in 12’ water and marked a bunch of fish. I did a few passes and picked up a 22” rock in 17’ of water. I was beyond excited. I did about 5 more passes and got hit HARD 3 more times, but couldn’t convert as I let myself get distracted trying to save the spot on my GPS. Anyway- it only gets better from here!!!!A26968A1-D61D-4A75-96DC-6F09CE555A03.jpg

Nice fish. It does only get better from here...until it doesn’t. July and August are brutal.

I met a nice striped friend myself today.

Nice! We do well down here through the summer, but the dang rays steal our bait and wreck our gear... it will be artificials!
