    Default Mirage Drive 180 Mainanence

    I did a quick video on what to look for, and what to check during the off season to kee your mirage drive running at top top shape

    Zach,

    Thank you for posting.

    Do you find a need to ever lubricate the main drive shaft -- the larger weight bearing axel?

    I believe there are bearings surrounding that axel; the Glide Technology (GT).

    The new drives are incredibly smooth compared to the pre-GT versions. I want to keep mine that way.

    This first year . I haven’t felt any reason to . I’m sure next year it will start to feel like it may need a little grease. Only reason I did not touch it, was because it still had a good amount that looked wet

    Yes. I can still see the factory installed grease in mine. I do wonder what kind of grease to use when the time comes to re-lube it.
