  • Keeping your feet warm in the winter

We all have the big struggle of fishing in the cold and having our feet freeze.

Here is what I’ve found to work best for me!!!!

Purchasing farm to feet socks, and NRS boundary Boot from Delaware paddle sports

Propped up beside a fire also works well.

With the farm to feet you don’t really have too . It’s made with merino wool which is a wicking style already

I have been using Cabela's merino wool knee high sox but may change to lower ones now that I've picked up a Stohlquist base layer for under my drysuit. I use and prefer the NRS paddle boots as they have some insulation and fit tightly over my drysuit booties plus with their height they tuck in nicely under the cinch leggings of my drysuit. Plus I wear 3mm neoprene gloves. This combination kept me warm and dry in the water when I flipped my yak this winter.

I’d like a dry suit some day .. right now I’m using the side winder bibs by nrs . Closest I can get to a dry suit with a dry top
