Put in at 8:03 am this morning just as the wind started to pick up. At 8:04 am this 23.5 inch fattie hit a 4" grey paddletail I was trolling. Nothing then for an hour and wind really started blowing so I headed in with dinner for tonight. Water temp was 49 degrees. Fish hit the lure right outside of Spriggs Pond in 4.5 feet of water. Al

Nice fish! Was a similar story for me on the Severn today, 1 fish, but it was a solid 26" (also on a 4" paddletail trolled)...I paddled around for a few hours afterward but then the winds picked up, and I hadn't had a hit in a while, so I called it quits. I wasn't expecting any fish, so 1 solid keeper was a pleasant surprise.

I put in at my community launch at the dead-end of Manor Road. It borders Spriggs Pond. It is actually quite a distance from Spriggs Farm launch.
