  • Input on striper fishing Dundee /saltpeter creek area

    I usually fish the Susquehanna river and flats,but,turbidity at 22 and rising looking for somewhat close alternative.anybody fish this area or gunpowder area.any help would be greatly appreciated.also considered bush river but Edgewood kinda out for me do to how area has become.

    Some years there are stripers at the railroad bridge on the gunpowder in the fall. Usually there fish at the mouth of the gunpowder but that would be an awful long paddle or peddle. Also there has not been much there so far this year. I hear they are getting them in the bush but have not tried it yet this year. I would recommend going to the Patapsco, either at Fort Armistead or Fort Smallwood.

      Thanks same situation in the Susquehanna last year incredible ,this year hard to find a striper.looking now farther south.and thanks for the help.very strange year in my home waters
