  • Lower Rappahonock River

Ok my first report so please be easy on me
Last weekend, nice weather river was flat. Water still rather warm around 74F. I did not have much time so i went only for about 2 hours on Saturday and then Sunday.

I have decided to try some flat grass located close to deep water. I was fishing on 3 to 5 feet. Water was crazy clean and i was able to see bottom and fish moving around.

Baby sea bass, puppy drum and nice trout
Also i lost two jiggs whan trying to pull larger fish. Simple need to learn how to tie better knots on my jigg heads
Used Gulp swimming mullet, pearl white
