  • Upper Chesapeake Guide

    Hey gang,
I'm looking for a kayak fishing guide for the upper Chesapeake Bay. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

I don't know if any guides for kayak fishing. What do you consider the upper bay?

Are you looking for a kayak guide exclusively?

There is a guy that posts just about every day in the reports section of a boating forum I'm on. He seems to consistently catch fish for his clients.

The only kayak guide I know in the upper bay is Capt. Chris Dollar. He has a kayak shop with rentals in Centreville, MD and does guiding too. http://cdollaroutdoors.com/

If you are looking for a guide with a boat, consider Capt Tom Hughes. Tom trailers his 22' Twin Vee boat and fishes at many spots around the upper and middle bay. http://www.capttomhughes.com/

Willf mentioned iFishMD, Capt. Greg Shute, who runs a 27' Judge part time.

There are plenty of other guides operating boats in the middle and lower bay, but very few kayak guides in Maryland.
