I'd guess some sort of sculpin, although the rayed fins all the way to the tail are odd, but then again there are hundreds of sculpin species.

Post it on the Anglers log on the dnr website. They will tell you what it is.

          Pretty sure it's a striped blenny. http://www.chesapeakebay.net/fieldgu...itter/blennies

http://fishbase.org/summary/3754 They are a very cool fish, and can be pretty cool to watch up close if you ever snorkel or dive in the bay. They're very territorial and will charge and nip at fish 10-100x their size. We had one in the tank within the main hall of our bio dept at my undergrad college SMCM.

Looks like it is a striped blenny. Thanks for the help. They are a pretty cool aggressive fish.

If this was a another Fishing Website with the initials TF, the jokes would be coming in about this being a "Banded Rudder Fish."

                Thank goodness it isn't.

I'm told your lures are best for the elusive Banded Rudderfish.

According to Goggle, this is a Banded Rudder Fish.
                    Just for fun.
