After a pretty start with a double rainbow, I finally found some specks. Nothing to write home about, but it was good to finally feel those gooey slugs this year. Unfortunatley it turned ugly quick and my poor man's anchor was not cutting it.

Well done and great improvisation on your anchor. When I first looked at the pic I was like, "What the heck is this in here for?" and then I laughed.

General location Info, such as VB, Norfolk, or Lower Chesapeake Bay, will help.

Anyway, Here is my kayak-anchor. One day I will try your improvised anchor system:

Around Crisfield, although nothing today but schoolies and one keeper. The improvised anchor won't work on the CBBT unless it starts sprouting grass on the pilings ; )
        Btw, great cobia post
