I've been there! Great place to fish. Really like the drone video too!

Thanks! It's the DJI Mavic http://www.dji.com/mavic

    Double thumbs up!

With 4K and drone footage you no doubt are raising the bar for video production around here. I especially like the high angle view from the camera you have mounted to the back. It gives a much better perspective of the fishing. I'm already looking forward to future videos.

You could send that out as an "Outfitter/Guide" advertisement and make a mint.

Ive never been daring enough to fly mine over water, but I hear zip tying small pieces of pool noodle to the drone will keep it from sinking in the event of a water landing.

Very nice video. I know you were in cramped quarters on the creek, but does the Mavic have a 'follow me' feature that will allow you to try some drone fishing footage in more open waters?

The Mavic has a follow-me feature, but I wouldn't recommend using it with so many structures around. And in open waters I'd trust it more, but it needs a pretty big landing platform and I wouldn't trust it in a bobbing kayak. I have the DJI Spark on order. Admission -- some folks buy sporty cars and boats, I prefer kayaks and drones :-) The Spark is even more compact than the Mavic and it allows for handheld take-off and landings. I intend to use it more for on-the-water shots, and the Mavic for the rest.
