  • Snakehead...Finally!!!!

After paddling many many miles over numerous trips I was finally rewarded by a snakehead. It wasn't just a snakehead, it was a 32" 10lb bruiser. I caught it on a buzz bait. Once it hit it thrashed about giving me an Aquia Creek shower.

I have been off for a while and this was my last day off. This was a great way to finish up my fishing quest for a snakehead. I have caught numerous big bass, some nice striper (caught a 24" striper out of the Occoquan two days ago), and spent a lot of time on the water.

Thanks to Ms. Johnson for the picture!
