  • Fresh fish for supper

    We had fish for dinner last night- two were still alive in the ice when I was cleaning them yesterday. I had 2- 11 inch white perch, 5 that were 10 inches long and one 10 3/4 inches long...and one 14 3/4 inch speckled trout...made a really nice pile of boneless, skinless filets- lightly dusted in Autry's fish fry and liberally sprinkled with Tony's Creole seasoning dropped in 375 degree peanut oil...a feast for the family- freshly caught just a few hours before...yummm....most hit a 1/8 oz. Red jighead with a white 3 inch Fat Sam swimbait- two trout, three bluefish and more than 20 school stripers hit a 1/4 oz jighead with 4 inch Sea Assassin swimbait down in the Slower Lower...

      18 filets cooked to perfection- 3 perch filets in a zip lock bag in the fridge...gonna make fish sandwichs for after while...
