Added to the list, thank you for breaking the ice and nice fish! I really like the homemade(?) bump board.

Thanks, it is homemade. I needed a better way to measure large redfish, so I bought some PVC board from Lowe's. It is 6 inches wide and can hold a fish up to 52 inches. The tournament ruler (I purchased it online) has a very adhesive backing that (so far) has not come off the board. The whole thing cost me about $10. It also floats, which is nice. The only down fall is the bulkiness of it, even though it folds onto itself and is only 26" long.

Gonna Upgrade the LMB with a 22.75" mouth closed, could easily have been over 23" mouth open.

My scales batteries happened to be dead that day. I had caught one over 7# before and this one was way bigger, my guess was over 8#.

Can I get a spot on the leaderboard? Species is a Giant Trevally (ulua in Hawaiian)...caught on Maui while on a kayak fishing trip with Jon Jon Tabon. Size was 40inches and weight was 27.5 pounds. Pound for pound, probably the toughest fighting fish I've ever caught. 16oz redbull can for scale purposes.

Yeah 40". I didn't end up eating it, Jon Jon kept it and gave it away to some disabled families. That's usually what he does with the fish caught on his charters. He did give me some fresh skipjack tuna he caught the next day, which was delicious.
