  • 1st Post/Kayak Launch Listing

I've been looking around here on the forums for a while. I just finished my 2nd kayak fishing trip this weekend so I figured I'm ready to start posting in the forum. I'm curious if anyone has bookmarked a thread for launches?? I searched but I'm new to the forum, so maybe I missed it. By the way I paddle a 2017 Vibe Sea Ghost 130 if anyone is asking. I plan to target all species in the area.

Maryland DNR website Angler's Access lists ramps and soft launch sites open to the public...http://gisapps.dnr.state.md.us/Publi...ess/index.html

St Marys County government has a nice listing of soft and hard launches if you search on boat ramps since you're in the county. Best part, they're free unlike many other counties in the state.

Welcome to snaggedline. Here's the link to the Dnr public online water access guide. Select a county then click on any of the launch sites and it will provide you with good information. http://dnr.maryland.gov/Boating/Page...boatramps.aspx another useful one I find is this from Paddling.com https://paddling.com/launches/ and then this one from paddling .com for ones phone https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...g.MainPagePack

Don't know about Android, but Apple offers an app called Launch Sites that is very helpful.

This is the best one I have found. It has some pretty common and remote launch sites. It also includes user reviews.

Welcome, bud! AACO just released an interactive map that includes launches.

Welcome to the forum. The members on this site can show you some of best launch sites that you might not find in an app or on a website. Good Luck on your launches and tight lines.

Welcome to Snaggedline. This is the most complete launch site list I've seen for the tri-state area. Apparently the person who compiled the sites and driving directions lives near Arbutus, MD so all of his directions begin there. The latest update apears to have been added on 3/2717
