  • 3/18/2017 - Fishing report

After several long weeks of being cooped up. I was able to get out for a few minutes this morning.

Fished the Brandon Shores area from 7 till 11. The WT 41 ish. Incoming tide.

    Nothing to right home about!

Picked up 2 Stripers. 1 on a plug while trolling and 1 on a paddle tail while blind casting. Both were 16 to 18 inches

It was good to catch up with a few old salts this morning!

Yep, always fun to get out on the water- great stress relief...I am headed out tomorrow to celebrate the first day of Spring and mostly to setup and test the Hummingbird side scan unit with my new Berkley Pro side scan Hobie transducer mount in St. Mary's County...might get a few hits on the lures, but not my principle reason for going...it is all C&R until April 15th...
