Thinking of fishing on the magothy tomorrow either out of spriggs farm or some other launch, don't know any though. Targeting rockfish while trolling a bit then focusing on bottom fishing for perch. Let me know if you'd like to meet up, fishmoken and i will probably be down at the water around 11 or 12. Will be on vhf channel 68.

it was a very nice day out, more so when the sun popped out for a little bit. Yakscientist and I trolled for a bit then I drifted some bait for yellow perch with no luck.

Mark and I planned to fish the upper Magothy this morning. We arrive at Beechwood shortly before 9:00 am and found the entire area covered in ice. I was shocked since it never dropped below freezing overnight at my house less than 15 miles away. We relocated to an eastern shore launch and each caught our first Maryland fish of 2017.John Veil
