Clark's surprise

I've got grandkids duty this week so getting a later start than normal. Clark's Landing is close by so I was able to get on a little before 8. Within 30 feet of the launch I caught this guy.



When I first measured it was 17" but after a couple of hours on ice I think it did like Seinfeld and had some shrinkage by the time I took the photo. After that, nada. Did have a nice morning with OVboy who was also out getting skunked.
There have been quality trout and drum in the slower lower the past week. Enjoyable surprise.

Got one at Breton bay Monday afternoon mixed with the little stripers after about 20 of those little guys
got one too take home
