Launched Monday out of Beverly Triton to breaking fish and birds everywhere around 6:30AM. The action was short, both in duration and the size of the fish. Most ended up around 14" or so. Ended up trolling out to the lighthouse and back. Ended up with a big hookup slamming a rod down on a diamond jig, but the hook came off after a minute or so.

Launched Tuesday with my dad on the Severn around 7:00 AM and had a crazy day with three keepers! They were 20.25", 20.5", and 21". All three put up great fights on light tackle biting on a chrome Ratl' Trap and a paddletail that was purplish. Strangely, we didn't catch anything else other than these three fish. The overcast skies and cooler temperatures the night before seemed to help cool off the water for a good bite. There were bait boils everywhere with a lot of the bait being pushed from deeper sections into shallower by smaller fish underneath. The fish were caught in all different contours on the water. One was a 5' flat area and the other two were on drops in the contour. All three of the fish had lots of crab in their stomach when they were filleted.

Glad to hear the Severn still holds some fish.
