  • CHSP next week

I'll be in Lewes next week. I've never taken the yak before, anyone have suggestions on where to go and what to target? I've been itching to do some flounder fishing if possible.

Blues are hitting hard at CHSP, you can pay $10 to launch right at the fishing pier. The only downside is the travel across the brush and the beach..but its manageable. If you want to go for flounder you'll be accompanied by many others. There seems to always be a crowd of about 10-15 drifting for flounder before the drop off. Shoot "yakscientist" a message as he is very familiar with the area from which I understand. He helped me out when I went.

Tog season also reopened last week. You should be able to find some at the outer wall along with potential trigger fish and sheepshead. Oh and probably loads of croaker and toads...

Yea I got into a lot of tog and some triggers this same week last year at the outer wall. All on sand fleas. The sheeps continue to elude me. Weren't many flounder around last year for some reason.

Only got out once. 1 toad near the pier. 13" blue and a 22" striper in the ocean side of the wall.

The end of the pier had a lot of tiny blues biting off the gulp, so no luck with flounder
