  • Repairs to my Hobie scupper cart

For those of us who bought the stainless steel Hobie scupper cart know too well is the tack welds are very easy to break and the cart falls apart...had mine repaired at a welding shop but it looked pretty sad- so I bought a package of Devcon steel weld epoxy, mixed it up and added a heavy layer of epoxy around the areas welded- hopefully that is a permanent fix...

Mine broke at one of the joints at the end of last season. I repaired it with gorilla glue and that seems to be working great. The epoxy should work as well.

I put it on pretty thick around every welded joint with nice radius- been 24 hours and it is hard as a Mother-in-Law's heart...
