  • April hog

I took some time off work this week and got in quite a bit of fishing. Overall, it was slower than a few weeks ago, but I did catch this 35" in 9' of water. Not quite a cow, but certainly a hog. The reel started screaming and I had to chase it down a bit. I was pleased to release it and watch it swim away.

Cow? Hog? Doesn't matter what type of farm animal you call it, that is a pretty fish!! Congrats!

Nice catch, great to see your time on the water rewarded. It appears that quality made up for lack of quantity....
      good luck in May!
