It took up the entire kayak. I didn't even know what to do with it! The weight of it bearing down on my lap was amazing.
48" would be a new leader on the leaderboard....been awhile since someone added a new record....i hope you add it to the list

Hahaha....that's one of the first things I though when I got it :-) She'll be on either the front or the back of the next one.

Oh wow, I didn't know that. I didn't get a shot with it on the tape which is nearly impossible with a fish that size on a kayak. I'll put it over there to see if the governing bodies approve. Thanks for the heads up.

Based on the mass of the fish, I doubt anyone would be inclined to deny 48"

Incredible! Hard work pays off! There is no doubt that fish is at least 48 inches!

Now you need to figure out a way to edit that video so that it can be released!

It looks like some spawners are staging up; very cool! Congrats on the catch and release!

It's funny, there are people on my FB page accusing me of carrying out a mounted replica and taking that photo. I've got a few more pics of it, they'll see :-)

If you don't have exact number, you should just put "Big Ass Fish" and let it go at that. I seriously doubt anyone would debate the issue.....
