  • Carr's Wharf launch

Does anybody know if the Carr's Wharf launch has been cleared? I want to try to nab some perch or pickerel there tomorrow.

    As always, thanks!

We are going to dinner right by there this evening, I will try to swing by and check. I kinda want to hit the water myself.

Its half clear. The hill is plowed and there is enough room for maybe 2-3 cars, if people dont park like idiots. However, you will have a bit of a pull over maybe 6-8" of snow to get into the water. There is a trodden down path.

Good luck. I got my yak about half unburied and gave up.

The launch is definitely not too bad. I got about 200 yards up Whitemarsh Creek and there, everything was frozen - you can see the ice about 30 yards in font of my kayak. A beautiful day indeed!2016-01-31 13.20.22.jpg
