  • Looking for Triggerfish recipes

My brother took me wreck fishing yesterday and I have a bag full of Triggerfish filets. Anyone have a preferred/proven recipe. I hear you can cook them just about anyway you please and they are great. Suggestions ?????

any particular way you like fish? my favorite is southern fried- rolled in white cornmeal sprinkled with Tony Chachere's Creole Seasonings and deep fried in hot peanut oil- triggerfish, like most reef bottom dwellers are excellent seafood dish on the table

I like to make fajitas out of them. Put some blackening or chipotle seasoning on the fillets and cook it some light oil on high heat.

I would've never thought to eat them.... they look a bit light & lean on the meat ...

The deed is done. Salt, pepper, Seafood Magic, quick fried in butter, deglazed the pan with a little white wine and lemon juice. Wow, this is one of the best fish I have eaten. White , firm meat with no fishy taste.
