I just checked the Thomas Point Light Buoy from NOAA. Since Saturday 9/12 the water temp has dropped three degrees from 79F to 76F. This marks the beginning of prime time for stripers and blues coming into the tributaries chasing baitfish to fatten up for the winter.

Good luck to all those who can get away to fish during this more active pattern.

Certainly time to bring home dinner and try and stock the fridge...
Hope you can get out there Mr. Silver Spring.
Good folk festival in Takoma Park if you can't fish...

Hang in there till you can.

True enough Rob. Every Fall is busier at work but with shorter days to fish. But Fall is always the best time to fish. My last time out was Labor Day Monday.

      Maybe Friday, just maybe.
