Cowpokey's double. While it was still raining.

Things I learned: wipe off camera lens often, Get closer with a Go Pro camera than you think you need to. We were only 10' away, There is no sound when a Go Pro is in it's waterproof housing. Carry extra batteries, You are lucky just to get 1 hour with them

      It was a good day. Yes it rained a little but the fish did not care.DSCN0465 - Copy.jpg DSCN0468 - Copy.jpg DSCN0470 - Copy.jpg DSCN0471 - Copy.jpg DSCN0474 - Copy.jpg

Here is my video of the end of my CNR fight. This is after maybe 10 or 15 minutes of fighting it. It does show that I can tie a good tight knot.

Nice. Looks so far away, and you were pretty close.

You should be able to get a lot more than just an hour on the go pro. You may be filming in 1080p, try 720p. Also, you can buy one of these:
              http://www.amazon.com/Wasabi-Power-E...+gopro+battery

I was able to film for 5.5 hours yesterday and I didn't run out of battery. Now I just need to catch more fish so I have something worthwhile to film.

Thanks . I will order a couple of those batteries.

I was filming at 720p and I had the wifi on from 6:25 till 11:45 when the batteries died. I filmed a few minutes here and there through the day. My total recorded time was just over a hour on each camera. plus what ever it takes to have the wifi on. I had spare batteries but I forgot and left them in the truck.

With a NORMAL battery I never get more than 45 minutes from my GOPRO. I just got an extended battery and one of those waterproof USB housings that allow you to feed directly from a USB port.

Had a great time and thanks to MOC and Coop for a great outing. Unfortunately I didn't get to keep up with ya"ll early on, I did manage to get back after coming back in for a stomach virus. Must've been the McDonald's breakfast... I can't wait to get back out there to the marina again but this time with more time for the bar (& THE Local (s) I befriended). By far the best M&G I've been to in years. CBKA excluded. Thanks again for a great outing.

Thank you MOC and Coop for a fantastic M & G.
First trip to the bay was not very successful for me but I could not have enjoyed the experience more.
Good food, good beer with good people.
I doesn't get any better than that!

Yes it was great to meet you guys and glad I was able to come. I need to learn a lot more about this type of fishing and have to avoid CNR!
