  • Mattapeake on Sunday the 5th

OK so today was a wash. I'm launching at mattapeake on Sunday the 5th. Should be there about first light.... any takers. Planning on trolling a bucktail or something the bridge and fishing that and the sewer pipe for stripers and perch... I hate to fish alone

Headed to Triton; going to see if there are any keeper size fish that are cured of lock-jaw they have had most of the early season.

I'm heading to Ft. Amistead in the morning also, don't feel like crossing the bidge. Hope to see you there. Care to elaborate on what was the ticket today? I'm geared up mainly for perch but did throw a couple paddletails into the tackle tray.

Tom, bucktails may not be deep enough. The fish are coming in 20'. Follow the ledges and contours north and watch your depth finder.

DaddyG, are you hitting any stripers or are you after perch? I was looking to save myself a trip to the main stem and stay closer. There've been some stripers caught but I haven't seen really anything to get too excited about.
