  • Croaker Sammich..add your catch on the table

Sounds like there were some mice catches lately....cobia, flounder, croaker, perch....let's see how we've treated the bounty of the sea!
    here's my croaker sandwich

Kevin - My tasty catch was not caught locally, and I caught it on last Wed rather than today. But it was a memorable catch and meal on the following day. I caught a 38" black tip shark. The guide's friend cleaned it and prepared it in two different ways -- seared in melted butter (1st photo) and pan fried with special breading (2nd photo, left pan). To supplement the shark, we had pan fried silver trout and mangrove snapper (2nd photo, right pan) portions too.

It was a mighty tasty lunch.

Nice work with the smoker, Ryan! You just reminded me that I have some snapper blues in the freezer from earlier this spring that I need to pull out.

I wish I could say I got a keeper cobia myself, but I can't, so I had to enjoy a few pieces of cobia a coworker gave me.
