    Nice bass. That first perch was an over-achiever, trying to eat that lure nearly as big as it was.

      Thanks John. Beautiful day to be out. I had another largemouth bass on that was even bigger. I got a bad Hooksett on the crankbait. It got mushy and I thought I had picked up a stick on the trebbles, but then a large bass jumped up just a few feet away from the kayak and then it was gone. Crank baits shallow, in the shade, and near the wood was the pattern for me.

                Gary, the white perch were on the bottom bouncer. I've been catching a bunch of 17 inch bass on crankbaits.
