Headed out to Mattawoman on 4/6, got a late start, but got there around 11:00. I was very anxious to try out my new Pro Angler, which is an awesome boat!
I also took my gopro my wife got me for Christmas. Defintitely fun to document your fishing trips. From my experience, it seems like that camera is mainly for video purposes, and doesn't do well with audio unless it's out of the waterproof housing. I will try to post a video later.
Tried a bunch of different presentations, but was able to find two nice bass (16" and 17") near the barge on a darker colored chatterbait. I have always had good luck on the chatterbait there for some reason.
Both fish were in about 5 feet of water and were fat! I'm guessing they are trying to find areas to spawn.
Wanted to stay longer, but got tired of the wind and called it a day around 4.
Still a great day on the water!
