  • El Cheapo Fish Finder

Harbor Freight has a fish finder for $39.95 plus you can get a coupon for 20% off of that. Comes with transducer too.

I may buy one for the hell of it out of curiosity.

    I wouldn't recommend it....for skinny water you really don't need a FF anyway :-)

You get what you pay for. I only shop at Harbor Freight for disposable items.

I love Harbor Freight too for many thing, including my Truck Bed Extender but i believe i would pass on Electronics from there...For another $60 you could get a true FF from a top notch manufacturer...I have an older version of this Humminbird, which i swear by!!! I have literally drifted over a log, in 20+ feet/water, at the end of the log a "fish symbol" appeared, i pitched a worm behind me, left the bail open as it fell for 20 seconds (i was still drifting) then BAM!! fish on!! Thats just one example of many, it has served me well.humminbirdpirahna.JPG

                  +1 on the skinny water.
I read the reviews and noticed a lot of people say its useless in water over 20 feet deep.
