    How convenient, the calendar also says 6 more weeks...

    I'm trying to figure out how he saw his shadow, pretty dark, rainy and cloudy so far today.

          Why hasnt anyone figured out that he isnt going back in because he saw his shadow. He just isnt finished making baby groundhogs yet.

                I recently had one living my yard.

                He wasn't interested in sunbathing or predicting the weather.

                He was too busy burrowing under my garden shed and taking any objects he could carry from my yard to his den.

                That included badminton rackets, lawn ornaments and various garden supplies. I reached under the shed with a rake and retrieved all of his stash I could reach. But there are still some things under there. Fortunately the ground hog is not. He moved on to newer accommodations where I suspect he has continued his kleptomania.
