  • Considering Tuesday 1/20. Ft Armistead and warm water discharge at Brandon Shores

Well I'm off tomorrow, Tuesday the 20th and wondering if anyone wants to go drop some BKD's in and around the channel. I've heard there are a few nice stripers around the Key Bridge and the Channel area there. Also heard a few medium size 30" fish near the warm water discharges at brandon shores PP. This will all depend on the wind conditions. If interested let me know

Good luck Tom. I'd join ya if I wasn't working. Almost went there today but wasn't sure what the wind would be like. Opted for the lower susky instead.

Let us know how you do.

If the wind is going to be blowing; South West would be best....for a kayak. Don't know about what the fish like.

ROMO - If the wind is in double digit you'll be getting a lot of exercise and splash IMO. I was there last weekend when the wind went from 4 mph early in the morning and around around 10-11 by the time I left.

Ah sadly I'm sitting in the office today. Otherwise I would take a drive and give it a shot. Let us know how you do if you go!

You didn't miss much Romo. None of us even marked a fish, let alone catch one =) It was great to get out though.

I hear that I did a little wwd fishing yesterday with only one tiny channel cat to show for it. Nice day to hike and wade after the ice storm of death Sunday. Still would like to get on the kayak soon somewhere.
