  • 01/01/2015 First Rock of the Year?

Decided to start the new year off with some time on the water and to see if I could find the first rock of the year! It was tough fishing and pretty rough out but I found this little guy and we decided to call it a day! Thanks for braving the cold and wind with me Jimbo!

Here's what came out of my kayak rod holder at the launch-

This fish was caught on a 2 ounce diamond jig. I was fishing it over the rocks next to the rockpile and trying to keep it just off the bottom. Jig up, flutter down on a slack line, repeat. It was a slow day!
