  • 2015 goals and resolutions

What are you goals for the coming year?

Mine is to produce a short kayak fishing film and enter it in the kayak film festival or the fly fishing film tour.

And obviously fish as much as possible.

            Do it!

A big one for me is to take my Dad to JBay and put him on some big bluefish (maybe a striper) on the rod that I am building him. Should be interesting! Other than that, post more reports and maybe make some videos this year!

In addition to fishing as much as possible, and with friends, a bull red(s) would be gravy. I've caught them surf fishing, but never experienced one from the kayak.

We'll hook up sometime late summer. I'll definitely keep you in the loop if they show up good again around OC!

In 2009 I got my personal best striper off my kayak at 45" down at Kipto. It took until 2014 to better that with a 47.5" striper in LI Sound on Memorial Day in 2014. I'll be working on breaking that in 2015. It might take until I retire or I may never break that, but I sure will try!
