  • Who's the BASHOLE?

There I was on my 5:30 commute into work, exhausted from the daily grind that compounded with a newborn that didnt want to let me sleep last night and also a little annoyed by all of the other people on 95 that don't know how to drive. Then my eyes automatically lock onto the dark colored kayak on a roof a hundred yards ahead. Needless to say, a little bit of jealousy kicked in at that point too.

But then I got closer and saw a license plate "BASHOLE". If you are a member here, thank you. The laugh instantly changed my morning mood.

It is funny. Whenever I see someone with a kayak I assume it's one of us and I want to wave. But 90% of us don't know what each other looks like. We need our handles silkscreened on the rear windows!

That's only possible in the winter for me...warmer months my back window (and the hardtop) lean against the garage wall.

I could get another beer flag and mount it on my CB antenna...although that might draw unwanted attention from law enforcement.

If anyone sees a silver Rubicon with the number 629 on the side, it's me...kayak or not. I do have a Snaggedline sticker on the windshield. Would like to have the crossed paddles Snaggedline stickers for each side where my rock racing/competition numbers are.

There is also a black truck in Churchville with HUK graphics all over it!

They're local guys. I think one of them lives there. I'm not sure where the office is
