Got out with the family this morning. They have taken the nets down , but the usual size cats weren't there this morning. I was using catfish charlie blood dip bait and gulp dough balls. We caught 10 total. Some guy was running a crab line right across the while area. We found that out as he came putting up behind yelling that my wife and kid needed to move because he couldn't stop. I thought it was a crappy place to run a line, but what do I know, I don't own a real boat. The catfish charlie stuff worked, but washes off really fast. I prefer the Sonny's. Way thicker and smellier. I've never waited
than 15 minutes for the fish to find it.

That's good eatin' size! Beer batter would be perfect for the catfish...do you use that for onion rings too?
