You use the Kraken as an example of an oversized boat, I would use it as an example of a company that is building a ocean boat that is not wide, and a very refreshing break from the overly wide standup boats, so often called barges that everyone is building. Lumping the Kraken with a Pro Angler 14, that weighs about 32 lbs. more and is not even close to 30" at 36" is way off. Most kayks are in the 29 to 30 inch wide range and the average could actually be 13 feet. I go to J-Bay tourney every year, there are one hell of a lot of those Pro Angler boats out there. I went from an 11' foot 31" wide yak to my present 29" X 14' trident Ultra, long yaks are great, I only use the little boats in creeks and streams now.....Jack
