lower rappahannock mid september

I'll be vacationing for a few days with the family in Lancaster, va right on the Rappahannock empties into the bay. Anyone have any experience fishing in this area that can pm me a few clues? I'll mostly be on a yak. My dad is bringing down his boat if we want to make a longer run.

I don't fish the area myself, but I would expect there to be spot, croaker, possibly specs and puppy drum. Keep an eye on this forum. There are usually some good reports:
